In collaboration with First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” initiative, Nickelodeon brought its flagship Worldwide Day of Play to the heart of Washington, D.C., for a historic and high-impact celebration of kids’ health and wellness.

 

Taking over the White House grounds and President’s Park, the event filled the Ellipse with over 50,000 kids and families for a full day of activity, music, and unforgettable moments. As part of Nickelodeon’s commitment to encouraging physical activity, the network paused all programming for several hours—prompting kids nationwide to get outside and get moving.

 

The event featured an epic lineup of interactive games, sports zones, and fitness challenges, including a custom-built obstacle course where the biggest names in sports competed head-to-head, delighting fans and inspiring movement.
