Nickelodeon’s Slime Fest was the brand’s first-ever U.S. music and slime festival, launched as a multi-year event held at Northerly Island in the heart of Chicago. With over 10,000 attendees each year, Slime Fest delivered a high-energy, multi-day celebration of music, mess, and family-friendly entertainment.

The event featured a massive outdoor main stage with performances from top-tier talent, including Chance the Rapper, Flo Rida, Liam Payne, Bebe Rexha, Pitbull, and T-Pain, alongside appearances from Nickelodeon stars who hosted, performed, and engaged with fans throughout the festival grounds.

Beyond the music, Slime Fest offered an immersive environment of branded activations, interactive play zones, slime labs, exclusive merchandise, and meet-and-greets with beloved Nickelodeon characters. Every corner of the venue was built for exploration, photo ops, and memorable family experiences.

And of course—the slime. From slime towers and splash zones to trigger-based games and full-scale audience slimings, the event delivered slime in every imaginable way, engineered for big reactions and even bigger messes.

To extend the experience beyond Chicago, Nickelodeon produced a wide array of content from the event, including live-streamed performances, social-first videos, and exclusive digital content that allowed fans around the country to take part in the fun.

SlimeFest was a bold, innovative step into festival culture for Nickelodeon—combining music, play, and slime to create an unforgettable experience for kids and families.
