Slime City was Nickelodeon’s first-ever long-term pop-up experience, transforming retail space into a fully immersive, slime-inspired world where kids, families, and fans could step into the brand’s most iconic element—SLIME—like never before. Debuting in Atlanta, Georgia, and later expanding to Miami, Florida, the activation delivered an interactive, museum-style experience designed to thrill the senses and spark imagination.

 

Guests journeyed through a series of highly themed rooms, each inspired by a different corner of an imaginary slime-powered metropolis. From the Slime Lab to the Slime Bubble Room, and the Great Wall of Slime, every space offered hands-on activities, tactile installations, custom slime stations, and photo-worthy moments designed for playful exploration and social sharing.

 

The experience culminated in the ultimate Nickelodeon rite of passage: a one-of-a-kind slime shower, giving fans the chance to get slimed just like their favorite stars. Whether guests were creating custom slime recipes, bouncing through neon-lit slime tunnels, or capturing the perfect slow-mo slime shot, Slime City offered a 360-degree brand immersion that blended physical play with digital delight.

 

As a ticketed attraction, Slime City drew strong attendance and local buzz, becoming a must-visit destination for families, influencers, and content creators. It was a first-of-its-kind initiative for Nickelodeon—part pop-up, part museum, part playground, and 100% slime.
